Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Right Calibre. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our retail company in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage the business area cash flow reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Provide analysis and interpretation of business area results, acting as a business partner to drive informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure effective cost control and budget management.
  • Manage group accounts (AR) and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Produce and prepare monthly management reporting packs for production entities, including VAT reporting and revenue accounting.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Part or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA) accounting certification.
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Zoho CRM.
  • A background in or knowledge of the media/publishing industry, with UAE experience being a must.
  • A proven history of month-end financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical and analytical accounting background.
