Key Responsibilities:- SIEM Technology Integration: Ensure seamless integration and utilization of SIEM technology to safeguard OT/ICS Cybersecurity Systems.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Maintain a robust monitoring baseline system security for OT/ICS Cybersecurity Systems and supported infrastructure, adhering to organizational policies and operational standards.
- Threat Analysis and Mitigation: Perform in-depth analysis, design, development, and delivery of solutions to prevent adversaries from attacking OT/ICS cybersecurity resources and supported infrastructure technology resources.
- System Administration: Perform system administration tasks on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) application and systems for OT/ICS environment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.
- Event Collection and Log Management: Coordinate and conduct event collection, log management, event management, compliance automation, and identity monitoring activities.
- Cyber Threat Identification: Identify potential cyber threats to OT/ICS Cybersecurity systems and equipment.
- Use Case Development: Develop and recommend specific use cases/correlation rules related to the environment to detect attacks and threats effectively.
- SIEM System Management: Manage SIEM system deployments, upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and operations.
- Audit and Compliance: Provide audit setting recommendations and integrate End Point devices for logging and monitoring based on best practices for OT networks.
- Content Development: Develop and fine-tune use cases/correlation rules based on relevant attacks and threat landscapes of the OT network and organization.
- Active Threat Hunting: Engage in active threat hunting across the network to continuously monitor for vulnerabilities and threats that could cause potential damage to the OT infrastructure.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to perform related cybersecurity activities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: More than 10 years of experience in information security and ISMS/CSMS development and implementation, with at least 5 years of experience in IT/OT Cybersecurity consultancy/operation, preferably in the oil and gas domain.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., UAE IAS, ISA 62443, NIST, Shell DEP, ITIL), and professional security certifications (e.g., GICSP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA 62443 fundamentals, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor).
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
