About the Role

The Security Operations Manager is a key member of our cybersecurity team, responsible for delivering exceptional information security services to Etihad. This role requires a subject matter expert in Identity and Access Management, with a strong understanding of ISO27001, NIST, and UAE Govt Cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical delivery of security services by managed security services providers, focusing on Identity Management, Privileged Identity Management, and Access Management.
  • Oversee manual Identity and Access Management services delivered by Access Management Administrators.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for information security operational requests and reviews supplier-provided reports to ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Ensure effectiveness of security services provided by managed services provider for detection, prevention, protection, and remediation of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with incident response team to respond to 24/7/365 security incidents as needed.
  • Enforce information security controls to Etihad security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support information security investigation requests and report situational awareness status as requested.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Identity and Access Management technologies and processes.
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with CISSP certification.
  • Knowledge of Information Security operations tools, including Identity Management, Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and Directory Services.
  • Understanding of industry-standard Service Management Operations principles: Incident Management, Vulnerability Management, Change Management, etc.
  • Ability to manage execution of projects by security services providers and internal teams.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills required.
