About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager Rotating Equipment to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing mechanical equipment engineering design deliverables for ADNOC Offshore projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all mechanical equipment engineering activities, ensuring that they conform to relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide technical input to the preparation of Technical Work Practices (TWP's) and Standards.
  • Coordinate with the Mechanical team and report project-related matters to the Project or Engineering Manager.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and execution of discipline activities, including manhour estimating and schedule preparation.
  • Manage discipline work, supervise personnel, and approve timesheets, holiday approval, and overtime where delegated.
  • Monitor and report progress of Mechanical engineering and design budgets in line with contract requirements.
  • Identify areas of concern regarding progress and quality, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Attend internal and external progress meetings and generate status reports for the Engineering/Project Manager.
  • Ensure team members are competency assessed and maintain the competency of the team in line with company and Client requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.
  • Experience in offshore upstream projects is mandatory.
  • Detailed knowledge of major mechanical equipment types and relevant international codes and standards.
