Marine Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate records of all marine activities performed by the barge, including anchor positioning and movement coordination.
- Conducting regular visual inspections of the barge surroundings to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Developing and implementing effective anchor handling strategies in collaboration with other crew members.
- Monitoring and reporting on the barge's position and mooring system, providing critical feedback to the anchor foreman.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the barge in offshore environments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years' experience as an Anchor Operator preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced offshore environment.
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with GPS technology and anchor positioning systems.
