About the Role

The Johnson Controls team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our HVAC Aftermarket team in Abu Dhabi. As part of this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and carrying out preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and equipment.

You will work closely with our Field Line Manager HVAC to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes:

  • Day-to-day service and maintenance in line with Company Best Practices
  • Carrying out service maintenance and retrofit projects on HVAC systems used for comfort and energy efficiency across large projects comprising Hospital, Retail & Commercial Buildings
  • Strong knowledge on testing & commissioning HVAC systems, 3rd party integration, programming logics, graphics building, and digital solutions
  • Coordination with subcontractors to ensure HVAC installations are completed
  • Conducting planning, scheduling, directing, monitoring, and controlling for uniform service
  • Attending to critical infrastructures and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring KPIs are met and continuously monitoring Service Level Agreement compliance
  • Aligning and implementing Service Management, Quality Management, and Health & Safety & Environmental Standards
  • Realizing opportunities from product end-of-life and replacement/upgrade solutions
  • Identifying business growth opportunities and service delivery improvements

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Technician, you will use your strong HVAC technical knowledge to execute site surveys and carry out full dilapidation reports, inspecting all refrigeration components and recommending system enhancements, upgrades, and replacements as necessary.

You will understand customer requirements and concerns by meeting them regularly and providing the required technical services and repairs for HVAC systems.
