Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of magazine pages, including features, regulars, and special sections, to ensure a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop visuals and design concepts to enhance articles and publications.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all publications.
  • Source high-resolution photos, color correct, retouch, and cut out images to meet production specifications.
  • Design in-house ads and marketing collateral for digital, social media, and events.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the magazine or publishing industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing magazine design work.
  • Excellent typography, layout, and color theory skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt designs based on feedback.
  • Animation and video editing knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with digital publications and web design is a plus.
