Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team at شركة SGS. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct inspection tasks with a high level of professionalism.
  • Perform specific evaluations on materials, equipment, and installation activities at the site.
  • Generate relevant Quality Records and, if necessary, prepare and submit non-conformance reports to the QC Supervisor.
  • Verify compliance with the Quality Control Plan, gather necessary documentation, and review procedures and equipment for testing, controls, and inspections.
  • Ensure the effective execution of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
  • Assess special processes and validate the qualifications of relevant personnel.
  • Inspect power transformers, switchboards, battery systems, outlets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments, cables, and tuning equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections, dimensional tests, and verify ratings and materials for connections.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas construction industry.
  • Previous approvals from Saudi Aramco are essential, along with possession of the 8000 series SAP Number.
  • Computed Based Testing (CBT) approval with a passing status in Welding & NDT disciplines is required.
  • CSWIP 3.1/3.2/AWS Certification is necessary.
  • Familiarity with applicable engineering standards and codes relevant to QC surveillance activities in both onshore and offshore fabrication projects.
  • Strong experience in Structural Fabrication, including Jackets, Platforms, Decks, Skids, and Manifolds in yard-based facilities.
  • This is a project-based role with a fixed-term contract.
  • Preference will be given to candidates available for immediate joining.
