  2. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  3. Site Visits: Regularly visit project sites to assess progress, identify potential cost variations, and ensure that work is being carried out as per specifications.
  4. Quantity Takeoff: Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs) for various projects.
  5. Vendor and Supplier Management: Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
  6. Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  7. Cost Reporting: Provide regular cost reports and updates to project managers and senior management.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation related to quantity surveying activities.
  9. Driving: As part of the role, you will be required to drive to project sites, suppliers, and other locations as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites and new project site visits.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant construction laws and regulations.
