Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary design teams, managing the design process from concept to construction, and ensuring all project objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical standards are met.
- Leading the end-to-end design process for metro infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of civil, structural, geotechnical, and MEP components.
- Ensuring that all design activities align with project milestones, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring collaboration between architects, engineers, urban planners, and environmental specialists.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
- 15+ years of relevant experience, leading large-scale railway/metro infrastructure design and management, preferably in the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of metro station design, track alignment, tunneling, viaducts, bridges, and utility integration.
- Expertise in international design standards (AREMA, UIC, AASHTO, FIDIC, and local UAE regulations).
- Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, BIM, GIS, and structural analysis tools).
- Experience with EPCM and Design-Build projects.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to implement Quality Management Systems effectively.
- GCC experience preferred.
