Pedestal Crane Operator Lead

This role supports deck operations on client platforms as per EnerMech processes and procedures, showcasing safety leadership and continuous development in crane, lifting, and support service activities.
Main Responsibilities:- Operate platform pedestal cranes under direction of nominated personnel, following manufacturer's instructions and platform operating procedures.
- The crane operator should only respond to Rigger or appointed Signaler instructions; however, he shall follow Emergency Stop Signals from anyone at site in case of an emergency.
- Carry out daily pre-operational checks on cranes using pre-use checklists.
- Report all defects noted during operation to the crane supervisor.
- Able to set and check rated capacity limiter and indicator functionality.
- Responsible for scheduled planned maintenance routines (up to 6 monthly) of offshore pedestal cranes to maintain safe operations.
- Must read and write English fluently.
- Be experienced, fully trained, and competent in the operation and maintenance of offshore pedestal cranes.
- Adequate understanding of crane capabilities and limitations regarding offshore operation and installed mechanisms, control, and safety systems.
- Educated to a minimum qualification of higher secondary school certificate or HNC or equivalent qualification.
- At least a minimum of 5 years' offshore/onshore experience and a minimum of 3 years in a similar position.
- Hold an Offshore Stage 3 Crane Operator certificate.
