About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and instructional skills. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring program curriculum for specified courses. You will also monitor and evaluate the performance of program students, providing instruction, counseling, and guidance as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Develops, implements, and monitors program curriculum for specified courses, ensuring that all required didactic and clinical educational needs are met.
  • Student Evaluation: Monitors and evaluates the performance of program students, providing instruction, counseling, and guidance as needed.
  • Liaison with Clinical Training Sites: Acts as liaison as required with all clinical training site instructors and ensures that educational standards are met and records are maintained.
  • Program Management: Supervises the daily operation of the imaging Educational Program.
  • Substitution and Support: Substitutes for other instructors as needed and assists in the testing and interviewing of program applicants.
  • Budget Management: Assists in giving recommendations for and monitors the program budget.
  • Accreditation Compliance: Interprets the National and State standards for accreditation, develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures necessary for compliance with these standards.
  • Accreditation Support: Supports programmatic accreditation; assisting with accreditation renewal.
  • Faculty Committees: Actively participates in faculty committees.
  • Accreditation Acquisition: Assists in the acquisition and maintenance of both national and state accreditation for the training program.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in the professional discipline.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • Certification/Registration: For Imaging Programs holds ARRT, or NMTCB, or ARDMS, or RDCS/RCS certification(s).
  • Additional Requirements: Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
