Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
Responsibilities:
- Posting daily sales and cash collection to ensure accuracy and timely deposit of cash.
- Preparing sales invoices as required to ensure policy compliance.
- Reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable against payments made and received.
- Processing petty cash replenishment, supplier, municipality, utilities, and staff-related payments.
- Closing books monthly by recording and reconciling liabilities, provisions, invoices, revenue.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Submitting monthly reports (MMR) and quarterly balance sheets.
- Submitting monthly sales reports to the landlord.
- Performing other ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A degree in Accounting or related field is required, along with relevant experience in accounting and finance.
