Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene and Sustainability Officer to join our team at Novotel Hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that our hotel operations are in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including HACCP Food Safety Management requirements.
  • Environmental Health and Safety Standards: Maintain and improve our environmental health and safety standards, ensuring that our hotel meets or exceeds local guidelines and regulations.
  • Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of our kitchen, bars, and receiving areas to ensure that our food safety and quality assurance procedures are being followed.
  • Staff Training and Development: Monitor and improve the personal hygiene conditions and working habits of our staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our environmental health and safety procedures, including regular internal audit reports.
  • Uniform and Personal Appearance: Ensure that our staff maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in environmental health and safety, food safety, and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of local health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
