Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our team of engineers and designers in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil/structural engineering, including design, planning, checking, general management, and supervisory responsibility in the oil & gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead independently a team of Sr. Engineers/Engineers, Sr. Designers/Designers & Draftsmen within discipline;
  2. Ensure effective communications and co-ordinations between all supervised staff, Lead Engineers of other departments and Project Managers, to ensure mutual awareness of requirements and sharing of information;
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
  • 15+ years of experience in professional civil/structural engineering, involving design, planning, checking, general management and supervisory responsibility in oil & gas industry;
  • Must have worked at least 5 years as Senior Engineer, supervising and guiding a team of engineers & designers;
  • Experience in reviewing Key Deliverables prepared by Civil/Structural team or produced by other work-share offices;
  • Has clearly demonstrated strong engineering competence, interpersonal / team building skills & leadership skills;
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices, codes and standards applicable to structural engineering. Working knowledge in general civil works like grading, paving, roads, drainage systems and other underground services;
  • Hands on experience in industry software, such as STAAD Pro, SAP, 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & NavisWorks), MathCAD, Foundation 3D, MS Office Suite, etc.
