Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Analysis Specialist to join our Clinical Services team at Actalent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting ECG data, analyzing cardiac patient information, and producing high-quality monitoring reports for our clinical customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • ECG Data Analysis: Process, analyze, and interpret ECG cardiac data for clinical accuracy and completeness.
  • Abnormality Identification: Identify and effectively communicate ECG abnormalities that meet established notification criteria.
  • Report Generation: Build CAM reports including summary of findings and applicable ECG strips according to established standards.
  • Quality and Productivity: Achieve and maintain monthly metric goals for quality and productivity.
  • Compliance and Certification: Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements, including CRAT or CCT certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Receive detailed feedback and evaluation scores from Internal Review Technicians on every ECG report prepared. Review feedback regularly and make necessary report corrections as delegated.
  • Collaboration and Support: Participate in assigned technician group to request clarification and assistance on difficult ECG interpretations and/or following policies and procedures for workflow.
  • Expert Analysis: Submit confirmation requests to expert analysis team to confirm advanced ECG interpretations and any ECG data that may meet established notification criteria.
  • Workload Management: Work overtime as needed to maintain workflow objectives and ensure the quality and timeliness of ECG reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • ECG Training: Must pass the ECG Training Course upon hire with a 75% or better and/or pass the Pre-Employment ECG Exam prior to employment.
  • Software Training: Must pass the BDx Software Training Course upon hire.
  • Certification: Must obtain CRAT or CCT certification within 12 months of hire date if not already certified.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention-to-detail.
  • Work Ethic: Phenomenal work ethic and desire to provide high-quality outcomes (reports) to our customers and patients.
  • Teamwork: Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to a positive team culture.
