About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial contract management, including review and analysis of customer proposed contractual agreements, identification of potential risks and opportunities, and provision of CAE's position as required. They will also lead bid teams, develop and implement negotiation strategies, and negotiate contracts with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Bid Team Collaboration: Collaborate with bid teams to develop and implement negotiation strategies, generate commercial responses to customer RFPs, and assist with proposal documentation.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of customer contracts, identify potential contractual liabilities, and report to CAE legal accordingly.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- At least 10 years' experience in commercial contract management, preferably in the defense or aerospace sector.
- Advanced knowledge of contract law and MoD terms and conditions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and delivering results-oriented solutions.
