This Senior Electrical Engineer position involves leading the electrical design team and ensuring compliance with local regulations and authority requirements. You will work closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs.

About the Role:

  • Lead the electrical design team and ensure compliance with local regulations and authority requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs.
  • Provide technical guidance to external stakeholders throughout the design and coordination process.
  • Develop comprehensive electrical design documents, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical reports.
  • Utilize ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit, and Navisworks for designing and drafting electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with a focus on UAE projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements, such as DEWA, ADDC, and UAE FIRE CODE.
  • Strong technical capabilities in ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit, and Navisworks for designing and drafting electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical load calculations, power distribution, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
  • Proficient in using electrical engineering software tools for analysis and design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
