Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of compliance within the Bank, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Central Bank and other regulatory bodies.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in Compliance related areas.
  • Create and implement a risk-based compliance monitoring framework to mitigate potential risks.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of departmental procedures and files, collaborating with colleagues to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Support colleagues in Compliance and AML matters, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in banking compliance, preferably within a team environment.
  • Sound knowledge of CB UAE Conduct of Business Rules and Regulations.
  • Familiarity with retail banking and branch network processes.
  • Independence and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
