  1. Financial Reporting:

  3. Corporate Tax Management:
    1. Prepare and submit corporate tax returns in line with UAE tax regulations.
    2. Stay updated on changes in corporate tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
    3. Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits or inquiries.
  4. Accounting Operations:
    1. Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
    2. Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
    3. Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
  5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    1. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    2. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgeted figures.
  6. Advisory Role:
    1. Provide financial advice and support to management and other departments.
    2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA / CPA / CFA / AFA qualification with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in VAT and corporate tax compliance within the UAE.
  • Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT laws, corporate tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Zohobooks, Quickbooks, Tally ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.
