**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance engineer to oversee and manage preventive, corrective, routine, and emergency maintenance across all facilities.

Maintenance & Operations

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to facility management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and ensuring the execution of preventive, corrective, routine, and emergency maintenance across all facilities.
  • Overseeing, scheduling, coordinating, and personally inspecting maintenance work related to HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building security.
  • Conducting regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, including civil, MEP, firefighting, and swimming pool systems.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of maintenance requests within pre-defined SLAs.
Vendor & Contractor Management

The maintenance engineer will engage, negotiate, and manage subcontractors and external service providers for specialized maintenance and facility management services. This includes:

  • Preparing RFQs for external companies and subcontractors for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
  • Overseeing the execution and implementation of all AMCs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Ensuring minimum disruption to operations while managing third-party vendors for maintenance tasks.
Facility Modifications & Space Planning

The maintenance engineer will oversee facility modifications, including cost estimation and procurement of equipment, labor, and materials. This includes:

  • Planning and executing internal relocations, office space reconfigurations, and installation of modular furniture, storage units, lighting, and partitions to optimize workspace.
Health, Safety & Compliance

The maintenance engineer will act as the lead for Health & Safety matters, ensuring all facilities comply with local regulations and industry standards. This includes:

  • Implementing safety protocols and overseeing risk assessments related to maintenance and facility operations.
  • Ensuring all building maintenance activities align with sustainability practices and energy efficiency standards.
Team Leadership & Coordination

The maintenance engineer will lead and manage a team of supervisors, skilled technicians, and maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. This includes:

  • Conducting briefing and debriefing sessions for facility teams on-site to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Providing technical guidance and hands-on support when needed.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, departments, and external vendors to resolve operational and maintenance concerns.
