Job Summary:

The First Group is seeking a skilled Painter/Mason to join our team as a Hospitality Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our hotels and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance tasks, including receiving and following up on maintenance calls, reporting on job completion, and summarizing used materials.
• Carry out various masonry tasks, such as ceramic tiling, retiling, silicon and grouting work, brick laying, hollow block work, cement plaster work, and casting of plain cement concrete.
• Install and modify marble tops and granite panels for wash basins and kitchen counters.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, joint repair, and re-cleaning.
• Apply various types of paints, including water-based, oil-based, epoxy, and topcoat paints, on different surfaces such as gypsum, cement, wood, and blocks.
• Provide assistance to the team as needed to ensure smooth project completion and guest satisfaction.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all completed work, adhering to good engineering practice.
• Study consumable spare materials and rectify issues to minimize waste and ensure safety.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in masonry works, including tile and marble installation.
• Knowledge of making new structures and repairing existing ones.
• Expertise in hollow block work and wall, ceiling, epoxy, furniture, and spray painting.
