About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: You will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are optimized to meet demand.
  2. Supply Chain Optimization: You will work closely with our Logistics Manager to create plans that optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle, tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns.
  3. Part Fulfillment: You will work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts.
  4. Vendor Management: You will work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements.
  5. Communication: You will be responsible for regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and ensure they understand our business requirements.

Requirements

  • Nationality: You must be a Saudi Arabian/GCC national.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tableau and SQL: You should be proficient in using Tableau and SQL to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • IT Industry Logistics: Knowledge of IT industry logistics would be an advantage.
  • Metrics Analysis: You should have experience using metrics to perform analyses and make data-driven decisions.
