Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Design Specialist to contribute to our projects at Wood. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instrumentation design and drafting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and prepare detailed drawings utilizing MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
  • Develop and verify layouts for instrument cable ladders and trays, cable routing diagrams, and various instrument location layouts.
  • Create comprehensive diagrams including instrument wiring, interconnections, loop diagrams, and control room layouts.
  • Prepare material take-offs (MTO) for instrumentation components such as cables, junction boxes, and associated accessories.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Instrument Technology Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and preparing instrumentation deliverables for industrial projects, with at least 3 years in the GCC region preferred.
  • Proficient in drafting and design within an instrumentation engineering environment.
