Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and Treat Mental Disorders: Analyze and evaluate patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorders.
  2. Prescribe and Administer Treatments: Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  3. Counsel and Advise: Counsel cases referred from other services by offering clinical advice or assuming full responsibility of the care.
  4. Conduct Laboratory Tests: Conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patients to provide information on their general physical condition and mental disorder.
  5. Collaborate with Colleagues: Contribute to the orientation of physicians, social workers, nurses, and other medical organization personnel in the early detection, recognition, management, or referral of psychiatric cases.
  6. Communicate with Patients and Families: Advise guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.

Requirements:

  1. Specialist License: MUST hold a DHA specialist license or eligibility as a Psychiatrist.
  2. Home Country License: MUST be licensed in home country.
  3. Experience: MUST have a Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinic or hospital environment.
  4. Communication Skills: MUST have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  5. International Experience: IDEALLY with some international experience overseas or in mixed settings.
  6. Residency and Visa: MUST already be resident in UAE with Visa and an established network.
  7. Availability: MUST be able to take up post within 2 months.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Introductory Fixed basic salary up to AED 60,000 for 3 months + Revenue Share % with OTE between AED 65,000 and AED 75,000.
  • Standard UAE Benefits: Standard UAE benefits.
