About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at National Petroleum Construction Company Limited. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a critical role in the review of enquiry documentation and the preparation of engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze enquiry documentation to understand project requirements and identify potential issues.
  2. Prepare and issue engineering deliverables, including specifications, data sheets, and calculations, to meet project requirements.
  3. Verify drafting for compliance with other engineering documents and ensure integration of activities with other disciplines.
  4. Coordinate with the Design of Construction (DOC) team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of engineering deliverables.
  5. Prepare and review procurement requests, including bills of materials, specifications, and vendor data requirements.
  6. Conduct technical evaluations of vendor offers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  7. Assist in pre-engineering site surveys to provide input information for detailed engineering.
  8. Prepare material take-offs for Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
  3. Excellent knowledge of engineering specifications and software, including INTOOLS.
  4. Strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
