Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in utilizing advanced medical imaging technologies to diagnose and treat various injuries and diseases.

Main Job Responsibilities

  1. Analyze and interpret medical imaging results to assess patient conditions and plan further care.
  2. Identify necessary diagnostic images and provide instructions to Radiologic Technologists.
  3. Administer small doses of radioactive materials to enhance diagnostic imaging quality.
  4. Perform minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, and ablation, under image-guided techniques.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technicians to deliver comprehensive treatment and pain management.
  6. Monitor patient progress, evaluate responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as required.
  7. Develop tailored radiation therapy plans for oncology patients.
  8. Address and manage side effects related to radiation treatments for cancer patients.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  2. Completion of a specialized radiology degree with a 5-year residency program.
  3. Active state license to practice as a Radiologist.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in relevant diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  5. Preferred 3-5 years of experience in the radiology field.
