About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Therapist. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism, 3-5 days per week
  • Actively participate in meetings and trainings
  • Implement feedback in the moment from clinical supervisors
  • Bring a positive, creative, energetic, and compassionate attitude to each treatment session
  • Be punctual and responsible
  • Collect data throughout treatment sessions
  • Complete daily session treatment notes
  • Maintain the safety and dignity of the children being treated

Requirements:

  • Must be a committed and compassionate person with a strong desire to help children and families
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Must be reliable, consistent, and have a strong work ethic
  • Must have a High School Diploma
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • Ability to pass a State and Federal Background Check
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Able to be in a kneeling position
  • Ability to bend over frequently
  • Ability to get up from the floor with ease
  • Ability to run and play with children

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with special needs, autism, or developmental delays strongly preferred
  • Ability to work well independently and seek assistance when needed
  • Possess strong attention to detail for data collection
  • Organized, flexible, able to follow instructive guidance, and willing to take constructive feedback
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain client confidentiality
  • Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references
  • Comfortable using technology
