About the Job
The National Petroleum Construction Company Limited has an opening for a skilled Sr. Structural Draftsman to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production of engineering drafting input for offshore projects.
- Supervise and review the work of draftsmen to ensure accuracy and correctness.
- Preparation of detailed material take-offs to ensure accurate accounting of all component parts required to complete the project.
- Preparation of input for BOMs and sketches as needed for PRs.
- Preparation of data diskettes for the CNC system.
Qualifications
- A higher national certificate or equivalent, along with an ITI certificate in drafting, and a preferred 3-year diploma in engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years' previous drafting experience, with at least 4 years at Level 1, and a minimum of 2 years offshore structural drafting experience.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD, with preference given to those with experience in StruCAD/X-Steel/PDS.
