Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Planning
    • Work closely with the Field superintendent, Reservoir Development/Petroleum Engineering teams to plan resources and ensure well intervention jobs are executed to the best efficiency possible and within the best time frame.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions
    • Suggest cost-effective Rigless solutions to address production and integrity-related issues.
  • Operations Asset Management
    • Take ownership of planning and utilization of operations assets, Lift Boat, CTU, etc.
  • Leadership and Organization
    • Lead and organize weekly planning meetings with tasks oriented around 30 days and 90 days plan (Short and medium-term plans).
  • Resource Optimization
    • Come up with solutions to maximize resource utilization through close monitoring of operations statistics, efficiency, and planning, minimizing NPTs and lost time due to controllable factors.
  • Cost Monitoring and Reduction
    • Cost monitoring of every single category of operation asset and work on cost-cutting initiatives.
  • Tendering and Evaluation
    • Write tenders and tender evaluations, including commercial and remuneration evaluation models.
  • Maintenance and Improvement
    • Help to improve Slickline and wellhead maintenance work from planning to executing and evaluating.
  • Planning and Execution
    • Honor planning of short-term (weekly meetings) and long-term planning as part of DWS schedule.
  • Campaigning and Resource Utilization
    • Drive campaigning work and scope of work that guarantee best utilization of resources and reduces cost.
  • Service Provider Liaison
    • Liaise with service providers to enhance the performance of the interventions.
  • Technology and Innovation
    • Ensure remaining up to date with latest intervention and completion technologies that will help increase production, reduce deferred production, maximize efficiency, and reduce cost.
  • Budgeting and Expenditure
    • Help in setting more realistic budgets and expenditures.
  • Well Integrity
    • Support well integrity implementation plans.
  • P&A Operations
    • Plan and execute P&A operations as needed riglessly and support A&D department as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical/petroleum or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years' experience in well services/well intervention operations, and pumping with at least 5 years in senior design role capacity. Preferably a combination of service company and operator with a good mix of technical and operations management. Good knowledge and experience in workovers and snubbing.
