About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage).

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accurate and coordinated drawings.

  • Ensure designs comply with local codes, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.), and project specifications.

  • Modify and update designs based on engineer feedback, site conditions, and design changes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Drafting Technology.

  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in the construction industry.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Revit MEP, and Navisworks.

    • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems.

    • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and MEP coordination techniques is a plus.

    • Familiarity with local authority standards (DM, DEWA, SEWA, ADCD, etc.).
