Role Summary
  • Develop and execute strategic market access plans to achieve business objectives and ensure timely access to hospital formularies and private health insurance plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including prescribers, patients, and payers, to drive market access and reimbursement decisions.
  • Lead the development of local market access strategies, including value dossiers, economic models, and key value messages, to support optimal market access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share key insights, support strategy development, and execute on in-line and future products/indications plans and activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of disease areas, products, and local market trends to inform market access strategies.
  • Identify and analyze data gaps to support product life cycle and develop local plans in collaboration with EMEA teams.
  • Work closely with key sectors/centers to understand and elicit market access/reimbursement requirements and propose strategies to address these requirements.
  • Develop and communicate value propositions, economic tools, and key value messages to meet the needs of local stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree in life sciences or a postgraduate degree/certificate in Health Economics/Epidemiology/Public Health/Health Policy/business administration.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a payer environment, preferably in a health economics and market access related function.
  • Oncology and Hematology experience preferred.
  • Language: Arabic and English.
