Virology Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Virology Professor to join our faculty at the University of Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students, delivering courses in their specialized field, conducting independent and internationally competitive research, and supervising postdocs, graduate students, and technical personnel in research projects.

• Teaching and Research: Participate in the teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, deliver courses in virology, and conduct independent and internationally competitive research.
• Supervision: Supervise postdocs, graduate students, and technical personnel in research projects.
• Funding and Collaboration: Obtain external funding from national and international sources, engage in academic, industry, and healthcare collaborations.
• Administrative Obligations: Perform administrative obligations within the college and university.
• Community Service: Serve as a viral disease expert and contribute actively to community initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virology, a Ph.D. in a relevant field, and a proven track record of research and teaching experience. The candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
