Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Transformation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organisational development section, you will lead the development and implementation of organisational development strategies, structures, and processes that align with the government's strategic objectives and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Organisational Development Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of organisational development strategies, structures, and processes that align with the government's strategic objectives and enhance overall performance.
  • Oversee Organisational Development Projects: Oversee organisational development projects, including structural reviews, functional realignments, and process optimisation initiatives across various government entities.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders: Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders across different government departments to understand their needs, facilitate development workshops, and ensure buy-in and alignment on proposed changes.
  • Research and Introduce Best Practices: Research and introduce best practices in organisational development methodologies, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the government.
  • Guide Implementation of New Organisational Structures: Provide guidance and support for the implementation of new organisational structures and processes, working closely with change management teams to ensure smooth transitions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of Proven Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in organisational design and development, with a strong understanding of various development models, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience Working within a Large Organisation: Experience working within a large, complex organisation, preferably within the public sector or government environment, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence senior leaders, and facilitate collaborative development processes.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose organisational issues, develop data-driven solutions, and translate strategic goals into effective organisational structures.
  • Relevant Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Development, Human Resources Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
