Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders, and customers in oral and written English.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and submitting FIR Reports, Impairment reports, and Coordination Notifications to stakeholders.
  • This role requires strong technical skills to construct technical reports, weekly/monthly trackers, and spreadsheets and presentations using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You will review job plans, identify the requirements of NFPA/UAEFC, incorporate necessary revisions, and monitor the Fire Fighting Systems, equipment, and pipework systems.
  • The successful candidate will identify and initiate system improvement reliability and operational concerns related to Fire Fighting systems.
  • You will possess knowledge and expertise in Electrical, ELV, Controller, Control Panel, and Detection systems.
  • Able to read, interpret, and describe the functionality of drawings (circuit and wiring diagrams/schematic and layout drawings) irrespective of systems.
  • Familiarity with NFPA, UAEFC, DCD codes, standards, and regulations is essential.
Requirements
  • A graduate engineer with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (4 years)
  • DCD approval Certificate
  • Minimum eight (8) years' experience within a Specialist Fire Fighting Systems Company
  • Certified in NFPA (Minimum of NFPA25 or CFPS)
  • Medical insurance for self & 3 dependents
  • Air ticket for self & dependents every two years
