The role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and mitigate risks associated with audit engagements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and a strong understanding of internal audit procedures.
The key responsibilities of this position include planning, supervising, and conducting various audit activities. The incumbent will work closely with assigned auditors to ensure the effective execution of audits and prepare audit plans, including audit programs and budgets.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for reviewing risk registers, process flow charts, controls, and detailed working papers, as well as drafting internal audit reports. Additionally, the role requires developing and updating concise control policies and procedures based on key controls that define well-controlled processes.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance and banking, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is essential, while professional qualifications such as CFSA, CPA, or CA are preferred.
