Sundus is a leading provider of human resources services, seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Expert to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will support the Accounts Payable Specialist in processing accounting entries, scanning statements, and identifying unusual items. They will also assist with preparing Debit/Credit Memos, balance sheets, and other financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounting Entry Processing: Assist in posting and processing accounting entries according to NewCo's accounting principles.
  2. Debit/Credit Memo Preparation: Help prepare required Debit/Credit Memos for miscellaneous transactions and ensure accurate deductions are made.
  3. Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and NewCo's guidelines.
  4. Expense Review and Update: Review expenses, payroll records, and update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability.
  5. Purchase Order Accruals: Assist the AP team in preparing purchase order accruals.
  6. Supplier and Vendor Maintenance: Maintain and update suppliers and vendors detail on the system to facilitate transaction review and processing.
  7. Terminated Employee Management: Review lists of terminated or resigned employees and ensure changes along with loan deductions are reflected accurately.
  8. Reconciliation and Analysis: Adhere to reconciliation schedules and analyze accounts to ensure proper registration of all transactions.
  9. Reporting and Closing: Prepare and submit draft reports to support monthly/yearly closings.
Qualifications & Experience

We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
