Position Overview: The BIM Project Coordinator will oversee and facilitate the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for various infrastructure utilities, including both wet and dry systems, as well as roadways and surfaces for a significant infrastructure initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the precision of construction documents by collaborating with discipline-specific BIM modeling and coordinating with other disciplines to address design modifications and model-related issues.
  • Develop and refine discipline-specific models and/or content for internal assessments and coordination discussions.
  • Assist the BIM manager and project delivery teams with daily BIM implementation tasks.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and performance to the BIM manager on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
  • Document, archive, and manage all formal communications related to BIM activities.
  • Ensure that the Project Information Model (PIM) is delivered in line with the established TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocols.
  • Collaborate with the BIM manager to address design modifications and model-related challenges.
  • Support the BIM manager in planning and construction efforts by reviewing proposed 4D sequencing models and reporting on progress.
