Main Purpose of Job

As a key member of our maintenance team at Nestlé SA, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient maintenance of plant equipment, thereby ensuring safe and smooth operation, reducing related shutdowns, and enhancing product quality and plant operation/performance.

  • Maintain standby equipment to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate modifications required to maintain plant operation.
  • Properly dispose of scrap material by segregating it and transferring it to designated scrap bunkers.
  • Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Adhere to hygiene standards, obtain necessary permits for hot work and hygiene work, and ensure compliance.
  • Support other plant sections in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Perform timely maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth and consistent operation.
  • Set up and maintain the workshop, ensuring proper placement of equipment and leftover materials for future use.
  • Maintain equipment according to condition monitoring recommendations.
  • Monitor and complete routine maintenance activities and work orders, including TECO.
  • Maintain personal tool kits and ensure the hygiene condition of tools and the workplace.
  • Comply with factory rules and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and restore equipment to operation as soon as possible.
  • Update information on equipment efficiency and spares in the Tech store.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
  • Implement process description activities based on NQMS objectives and principles, review and improve KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • College diploma or BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
  • SAP experience.
