Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Lead to join our team at Egis Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, ensuring the successful implementation of BIM standards and protocols across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the BIM process and ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and project execution plans.
  • Coordinate and manage the development of BIM models for various projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate BIM processes into project workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on BIM-related issues and best practices.
  • Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and clash detection sessions to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, project-specific BIM protocols, and standards.
  • Train and mentor team members on BIM tools, processes, and standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Report on BIM progress, issues, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in Architectural Design, out of which 5 years in BIM.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects in the UAE or the Middle East region is preferred.
