Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in mammal training and be able to provide excellent animal care while ensuring habitats meet the needs of the animals. Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily operations within the Life Sciences Department to ensure the highest level of safety, courtesy, education, efficiency, and operational readiness at all times.
  • Health and safety standards compliance in accordance with local municipality rules and facility standard operating procedures.
  • Good animal care and habitat maintenance.
  • Training routine adherence and animal schedule management.
  • Daily animal husbandry tasks, health checks, and training.
  • Behavioral concern identification and communication to the team.
  • New habitat implementation, animal enrichment, and educational opportunities to maximize animal well-being and guest experience.
  • Up-to-date electronic records on animal health.
  • Animal health monitoring and identification of concerns.
  • Communication with Animal Collection Supervisors and Veterinary Staff regarding animal health concerns.
  • Policy and procedure document compliance.
  • Emergency response assistance to minimize damage, loss, or injury to guests, team members, animals, or company property.
