We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Engineer to join our team at Star Services LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, management, and implementation of our company's HSE objectives and targets across various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including environmental regulations and ADNOC code of practice.
- Lead the development of HSE deliverables, including risk assessments, safety studies, and loss prevention plans.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of HSE plans and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate HSE activities across project sites, ensuring timely preparation of regulatory compliance documents and approvals from government authorities.
- Provide technical expertise on HSE matters, including process operation systems, technology, and environmental impact assessments.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant HSE experience, with at least 8 years in operations within the Oil & Gas Industry at a supervisory level.
- Strong knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations, as well as best practices on HSE.
- Experience in process design, FEED, and detail engineering, as well as EPC projects.
- Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and provide expert knowledge on OH&S and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
- NEBOSH, OHSAS, IOSH, and Auditor Certification.
- Subject matter expertise in technical safety, risk management, and loss prevention aspects in project execution.
