About the Company:

The Downstream segment is dedicated to refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products, along with related services for both international and domestic clients. The Corporate segment provides essential support services, including human resources, finance, and information technology.

Position Overview:
We are in search of a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to become a part of the Security Intelligence Center Division within Digital & Information Technology.

The Security Intelligence Center Division is tasked with delivering security operations, which include a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), cyber intelligence, forensic services, and protections for networks and endpoints. Additionally, it manages the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, Log Management System (LMS), and Cyber Intelligence Management System (CIMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and directing both internal and external intelligence sources.
  • Analyzing threat reports and synthesizing threat information into actionable cyber threat intelligence.
  • Managing a threat intelligence platform and enhancing its integration with other cybersecurity systems.
  • Refining cyber threat intelligence models.
  • Establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships related to cyber intelligence.
  • Assisting and guiding cybersecurity analysts in threat hunting and mitigation efforts.
  • Providing mentorship to junior cyber threat intelligence analysts.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to relocate permanently.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited program; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in Information Security, including at least 5 years focused on Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Log Management Systems, Incident Response Platforms (IRP), and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP).
  • Knowledge of YARA and SIGMA rules, including the ability to write and utilize them.
  • Understanding of OODA, ICD 203 & 208, Diamond, LM, CKC models, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • Comprehension of how Intelligence-Driven Defense is employed to safeguard a large enterprise.
  • Possession of forensic analysis skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Intrusion Protection Systems, Web Gateways, email security appliances, Log management, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Capability to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), assess existing defenses against identified threats, and track activities of specific campaigns.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.
  • Demonstrated eagerness and capacity for learning.
  • Ability to write clearly with comprehensive documentation and present messages persuasively.
  • Proficient in collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
