We are now looking for a Senior Treasury Assistant to join our Chelmsford office.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To provide proactive transactional support for billing and collections, ensuring efficient and effective billing solutions, and maximizing collections to actively support the reduction of lockup.
  2. Develop strong relationships at Team Leader/Partner level, leading and/or supporting the team with regular lockup reviews, to pursue billing opportunities and specific actions to accelerate collections.
  3. Collaborate with other Assistant Managers and the team to resolve queries and issues promptly, utilizing collective knowledge and resources in the Working Capital Management and wider Finance team.
  4. Work with peers to manage staffing issues regarding holiday & sickness cover, performance, and recruitment in a collaborative and consistent manner.
  5. Maintain high standards of team and individual performance to deliver a first-class service across the firm.
  6. Ensure exceptional service delivery to internal clients to contribute to developing the professional reputation of the department.
  7. Develop, motivate, mentor, and coach team members to excel in their roles.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Demonstrable experience in leading transactional teams covering billing and/or collections with a strong track record in goal setting, performance management, recruiting, training, and disciplinary procedures.
  2. Advanced Excel and reporting skills: Ability to streamline data reporting into meaningful information, report writing, and data trend analysis. Word and PowerPoint presentation of monthly numbers.
  3. Experience in legal and insurance sectors is beneficial, but key is a strong target-driven, commercial mindset.
  4. Flexibility and adaptability to deal with changing requirements, balancing competing priorities, and delivering according to management expectations.
  5. A can-do attitude with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, driving the team to adopt the same approach to problem-solving for both internal and external issues.
