Job Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Infrastructure will lead the design and development of cutting-edge data centers globally. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in data center design, project management, and a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. Reporting to the SVP Design and Chairperson, this role is expected to lead a team of 15+ and work on 10+ projects globally.
Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Develop and implement design strategies that align with LVI Associates' mission and business goals.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in data center design, incorporating the latest technologies and sustainable practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of design quality and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in data center design and project management.
- Background: Come from an engineering consultancy firm.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in design software and tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, sustainability practices, and industry standards.
- Certifications: Data center related certifications will be a plus (i.e. Uptime, DCDC, CDCDP).
