About the Role

  • As a Primary Care Physician at NMC Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to patients in our hospital wards and outpatient clinics.
  • You will admit patients requiring special care, investigations, and treatment, and work closely with other medical staff to ensure quality treatment.
  • Your duties will include examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions, making notes as a record of treatment and for referral, and liaising with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of applicable local regulations and requirements, monitoring the quality of medical care provided to hospitalized patients, and conducting periodic health programs for company executives.
  • Other key responsibilities include working with other doctors as part of a team, organising preventive medical programmes, and performing miscellaneous related duties as requested by the head of the general clinic.

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, you must have graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship, and at least three years of practice as a GP.
  • You must also have a license to practice by DHA and an excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic is desirable but not mandatory.
