We are looking for a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team and work with patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with patients to understand their needs.
- Performing various tests to diagnose patients.
- Performing endoscopic procedures.
- Diagnosing and treating complex medical illnesses as well as chronic diseases and conditions.
- Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care.
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments as necessary.
- Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients.
- Referring patients to other medical specialists when necessary.
- Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
- Preparing official health documents or records when necessary.
- Making diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in obscure situations.
- Providing expert opinions to junior colleagues.
- Directing and coordinating activities for nurses and other medical staff.
- Bringing new services to the hospital and department.
- Performing endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs.
- Executing X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.
- Performing surgery in the digestive tract.
