Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting second opinion reviews of reserves for Life and P&C lines to ensure their appropriateness.
  • Performing pricing peer reviews and sensitivity analysis on large deals and new products.
  • Developing stochastic models for CAT and Large losses to support reinsurance modeling, pricing, and optimization.
  • Contributing to financial risk management activities such as Assets Liability Matching, Credit Risk Assessment, and liquidity monitoring.
  • Supporting internal control and operational risk activities as needed.

Requirements

  • An Actuarial background is necessary.
  • A graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an Actuary, Risk Manager, or in a technical function in an insurance or reinsurance company or consulting environment is required.
  • Solid knowledge of Actuarial concepts and analysis is essential.
  • Strong skills in Actuarial modeling and coding using R and VBA are required.
  • Excellent relationship management skills are essential to interact with stakeholders locally and globally.
  • The ability to identify key points in complex topics and communicate them effectively to business executives is critical.
  • Detail orientation and a global perspective are necessary.
  • Motivation and ability to work in a demanding environment with multiple stakeholders are required.
