We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team at Al Nahiya Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective maintenance plans to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement weekly maintenance plans in consultation with maintenance, production, and support departments.
- Coordinate with inspection engineers to receive yearly static equipment plans and schedule maintenance activities accordingly.
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to support effective planning for shutdowns and special projects.
- Develop and maintain a current backlog summary of maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and inspections due.
- Monitor and evaluate the level of backlog and report on a monthly basis to line managers.
- Support the scheduling of predictive maintenance (PdM) technology applications and plan maintenance repairs to correct deficiencies found during PM and PdM inspections.
- Ensure proper collection and completion of maintenance documentation and inputs into the MAXIMO system.
- Responsible for supporting and implementing a future computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a prime internal technical resource.
- Study and analyze maintenance works and establish priorities for capital and major maintenance jobs.
- Follow up on completing maintenance procedures, development/implementation of PM and routine maintenance programs, spares linking, and documentation in line with policies and procedures.
- Monitor the content of status reports from project teams, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Manage and coordinate internal/interdepartmental meetings to discuss/planning activities sequence, monitor planned and scheduled deliverables, and ensure timely progress/monitoring.
- Serve as a focal point for Maintenance Management System reference and implementation.
- Ensure proper follow-up and monitor the progress of UAE national graduates' career development in line with company policy.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation-related Engineering disciplines from a recognized university or institution of repute.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in maintenance or maintenance planning in an Oil & Gas environment.
- Very good knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) like MAXIMO/SAP.
- Good computer knowledge and hands-on experience in MS Project/Primavera planning software.
- Professional certifications in Maintenance or Planning aspects would be an added advantage.
