About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing projects or work-streams of a small to medium size and complexity.

As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of engagements including work plans, timelines, project management, and resource allocation. You will also liaise effectively with clients while working on engagements and act as an 'ambassador' for the organization.

You will own deliverables of an engagement/project with minimal input of project leadership. You will complete report writing, presentations, and proposal preparation with minimal guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects or work-streams of a small to medium size and complexity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Professional accounting and/or finance qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting experience in a relevant organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive technical accounting experience in IFRS and IPSAS
  • Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance business processes, and finance controls
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
